Introduction to The American Club of Sweden, April 21st
Ever wonder about the history of the American Club? Eager to understand how you can get involved? Have questions about our operations? Want to meet other newcomers to the Club?
Prior to Third Thursday in April, we will have a brief session where we spend a few minutes reviewing our history and present day activities. Then we will open the floor to audience questions and you will have an opportunity to meet others in that space before joining, if you would like, the larger group for our monthly networking mingle.

Annual Meeting 2016 Featuring Food Innovation, May 26th
Members in good standing are invited to join our AGM. The Meeting will be followed by a celebration of food innovation at A-House, Stockholm’s old architectural school. Don’t miss a tour of this new mecca for food innovation in Stockholm followed by a meal prepared by Nobel chef, Sayan Isaksson at A-house’s newly inaugurated restaurant, Bouillon! We will hear more about how the US Pavilion at the Milan Expo in 2015 inspired A-house.

Welcome to Ambassador Azita Raji
The American Club of Sweden welcomes United States Ambassador to Sweden, Azita Raji.
On April 7th, 2016, Ambassador Raji accepted the Honorary Presidency of The American Club of Sweden. We look forward to working with the Ambassador and her husband, as we support their mission and family as members of our Club.
Intercultural Forum: The Role of Dads in the U.S. and Sweden, April 11th
What a difference a dad makes! This spring the American Club’s Intercultural Forum sets out to explore the role of dads in the U.S. and Sweden. Together with our featured speakers and commentators, members are invited to participate in a discussion about the potentials, shifts, challenges and opportunities for dads in the U.S. and Sweden.

Third Thursday, April 21st
Our monthly mixing, mingling and networking event, Third Thursday (or “3T” as regulars call it) is open to anyone with an interest in The American Club of Sweden. It’s even a great opportunity for those considering membership to get to know our Members and learn more about our club.
The Third Thursday of each month we gather at Hilton Stockholm (Slussen) from 17:30-19:30.
This month we welcome Svenskar i Världen/Swedes Worldwide and all their “homecomers”. So many Swedes have lived abroad (in the U.S. or otherwise) and returned home – we look forward to sharing the evening and some of their unique experiences, skills, opportunities and challenges.

Guided Tour of Fotografiska, April 4th
Attention all photo buffs! Follow art expert and board member Deborah Duerr as she guides you through the current exhibits at the scenic Fotografiska on Södermalm. This museum is one of Stockholm’s most popular attractions, annually attracting over 500 000 visitors. After the tour we will gather in the restaurant/bar for a glass and/or a bite (optional) and talk about what we have seen!
