The American Club of Sweden cordially invites you to the 48th Annual Golf Challenge at Österåkers Golf Club. At stake are four trophies: the McDonald’s Cup for the Club champion with the best gross score (strokeplay), the General Motors Cup for the best Stableford result, the Texaco Cup for the best net score (strokeplay) and the the AT&T Nordic Ladies Cup for the best ladies score (Stableford). Winners receive a miniature cup to keep while the trophies may only be held until the next tournament.
Once again the event will be a fundraiser, with this year’s proceeds benefitting Linas Livsglädjefond . Similar to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, well-known to most Americans, Linas Livsglädjefond was founded in 2001 to help terminally ill children realize their dreams through organizing a myriad of activities that could only reflect childhood fantasies. Registration Details
Price: TBD, estimated at 600 SEK — includes 18 holes of competitive golf at Österåkers Golf Club, food at the kiosk during play (korv med bröd (hot dogs), drinks and coffee) and dinner in the clubhouse after golf and awards.

Registrations will be confirmed by August 4th with payment instructions and final amount. Payments will be due by August 8th to confirm your registration and space is limited – first come, first served. Reservations are binding and no-shows will not be refunded.
