As a rule, Third Thursdays are informal — in the tried-and-true American fashion — business cards, handshakes and a smile. American Club members and non-members are welcome and everyone is encouraged to bring guests.

The Super Bowl is a special event in American sports, one of the most watched worldwide.  This year The American Club is participating in an event hosted by Hard Rock Cafe and Djurgården American Football.  The Embassy of The United States in Stockholm is also invited.

Business Exchange – February 12, 2009

Join us for a great opportunity to build and/or source new business through learning more about what our own members have to offer.  Business Exchange 2009 promises to be a fast-paced program offering networking in three unique formats (business presentations, exchange mingle and networking lunch).  The centerpiece of the day will be the business presentations, where 10 companies will have the stage to introduce their offerings and services; speakers will be strictly limited to 8 minutes each, so we’re sure to learn a lot in a short period of time.  All participants will receive a loose-leaf booklet summarizing the products and services offered by participating companies and a buffet lunch atop SEB’s headquarters. Here’s the day’s program: 

08.00 – 08.30 Registration and coffee. Set-up of display tables atop SEB’s headquarters
08.30 – 08.45 Welcome and introduction of Business Exchange 2009
08.45 – 09.55 Presentations by seven Presenting Companies
09.55 – 10.15 Coffee
10.15 – 10.30 SEB Retail Sverige presents business solutions for small- and medium companies
10.30 – 11.00 Presentations by three more Presenting Companies
11.10 – 12.00 Exchange mingle atop SEB’s headquarters, with table displays and networking
12.00 – 13.00 Buffet lunch with networking by specific area of interest, atop SEB headquarters

Club members are invited to participate at one of 3 different levels, all of which include registration for one person (additional people from same company: 500 SEK pp, which includes lunch and loose-leaf booklet):

1.       Presenting Company, which includes the opportunity to make an 8-minute presentation to all Business Exchange 2009 participants, have a display table showcasing your products and/or services during the exchange mingle, and lunch including networking. Limited to 10 companies. 1500 SEK

2.       Showcasing Company, which is your entry ticket to hear company presentations, plus a display table at the Exchange Mingle to showcase your products and/or services, plus lunch and networking.
Limited to 20 companies including Presenting Companies. 1000 SEK

3.       Participating Company, which enables you to participate in all activities as an observer and for networking purposes; the perfect opportunity to scout out new service providers for your company, with a lunch buffet included!  500 SEK
